The Importance of Long-Term Planning in Reducing Flooding Vulnerability

This report is adapted from In Deep, New Jersey Future’s more extensive report on its local recovery planning manager (LRPM) program following Superstorm Sandy. The report summarizes the program and offers lessons learned that can inform future disaster recovery initiatives, not just in coastal areas but in all flood-vulnerable areas in New Jersey and across the country.
